How to add employees?

Prerequisites: Setting Branch, Department and Designation

You can add employees from the MonstarPeople dashboard accessible both from desktop and mobile.  

Here’s a quick guide to get you started:

  1. Navigate to the Employees Section: Start by clicking on “Employees ” located at the dashboard’s left side navigation bar. This will open a dropdown menu to onboard and add employees.

  2. Add a New Employee: Click “Add Employee.” Doing so will open a dedicated dialogue box to input the basic information of the employees.

Fill in Employee Information: Inside the “Add Employee” dialogue box, you will be required to enter the following information of the new member:

  1. Name

  2. Phone No

  3. Personal Email

  4. Gender

  5. Department

  6. Designation

  7. Branch

 

The asterisk fields are mandatory employee details required to be filled for adding employees. Other than the mandatory information, you can include more employee information.

 

4. Submit: Scroll down the dashboard and click the submit button.

As soon as you have clicked the submit button, the new employees will receive an email notification to set up their password for their MonstarPeople account and the link to get onboarded in the attendance system.

How to bulk upload employees / how to add multiple employees?

You can add multiple employees at once or in a batch by uploading a CSV file containing your employees information.

Start by exporting the CSV file template from here: Multiple Employee Add Dummy CSV File Template. This template is also available from the Add Employee dashboard.

 

Fill up the csv file with the information and import it to the dashboard.

How to onboard employees?

The “Onboarding Employees” page gets filled up with employee data, as soon as you submit an “Add employees” request or import multiple employee data to add them in MonstarPeople. On boarding Employees will show you the new employees who have received an email notification to get onboarded in MonstarPeople.

 

For example:  We have added new employees and imported multiple new employee data to add them in MonstarPeople. Thus, here’s how the “On boarding Employees” dashboard and the functions will look like this:

How to start tracking time as an employee or a general user?

As soon as you are onboarded to MonstarPeople you can start tracking time and attendance by using both web application and also from android and iOS app.

 

Using MonstarPeople Attendance web application from browsers

In order to start tracking time, simply log in to your MonstarPeople Attendance account and click the Check In/Out index finger pointing upward. This will open the Check In/Out box in which you need to tap the green button featuring a hand with index finger pointing upward. This will start tracking your time. 

 

Similarly, in order to stop tracking time, click Check Out when you are done with the day’s work. This will open a box where you need to tap the red button featuring a hand with index finger pointing upward. This will end tracking your attendance and show you the total amount of time you worked for the day.
